Best coffee shop in St Albans. I frequent this place most days and usually one evening a week as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the coffee is delicious and they do the best granola bars. I can also highly recommend their cheese boards, generous portions and extra crackers! They also have a good selection of wines and spirits too! This is my favourite place to meet friends, have lunch or unwind after work. Keep up the good work, you all do an amazing job.
Second time here with my wife today. We discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, and we are very happy to go back for our coffee. Place looks nice and clean, you feel welcomed. The baristas know what they are doing. They serve the best coffee in this country. It might not be the best to your taste, but I have 10 years of barista experience, and trust me, I know what a good coffee is. They just make it taste so good. Temperature is perfect, the coffee or the milk is not burnt, both grinder and machine is calibrated perfectly, you can taste no odd bitterness on the bevarage only the natural aromas. Thank you so much! We will be back.
My friend and I had a meal at Fade to Black at The Quadrant last night. The platter we shared was absolutely delicious and they accommodated our vegan and gluten free requirements without any fuss. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable evening, thank you.
Had my 40th party here and it was fantastic - the atmosphere is perfect for a party, the food was fantastic and team were so helpful and lovely. Great selection of drinks available and you can plug in and play your own music. All our guests commented on how great everything was - also was super easy to plan in the lead up to- quick and helpful responses!
I had another delicious coffee and wrap today at Fade to Black. The staff were so accommodating and couldn't have been more helpful when wanting to substitute one of the wrap's ingredients . They're always so friendly and do serve the best coffee around. I highly recommend you go there if you've not been already

My local go to for GREAT Coffee! Which is hard to find with only a handful of specialty coffee shops in the area. Really friendly staff who actually care about the customer and providing a good service. Love this place, quite often use fade to black if i need to meet with clients because I can guaruntee a nice relaxed atmos too.
Lovely local coffee shop and wine bar that has become a community hub. Consistently good quality coffee and light bites as well as othe drinks. It can get busy at popular times especially on common WFH days! Try the avocado on toast with feta and tomato.
